50. سورة ق

رِّزْقًا لِّلْعِبَادِ وَأَحْيَيْنَا بِهِ بَلْدَةً مَّيْتًا كَذَلِكَ الْخُرُوجُO(11)

(یہ سب کچھ اپنے) بندوں کی روزی کے لئے (کیا) اور ہم نے اس (پانی) سے مُردہ زمین کو زندہ کیا، اسی طرح (تمہارا) قبروں سے نکلنا ہوگاo

(This all is done as) sustenance for the servants and We gave life with this (water) to the dead earth. In like manner is (your) coming forth from the graves.

كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ وَأَصْحَابُ الرَّسِّ وَثَمُودُO(12)

اِن (کفّارِ مکہ) سے پہلے قومِ نوح نے، اور (سرزمینِ یمامہ کے اندھے) کنویں والوں نے، اور (مدینہ سے شام کی طرف تبوک کے قریب بستیِ حجر میں آباد صالح علیہ السلام کی قوم) ثمود نے جھٹلایاo

Before these (disbelievers of Makka) the people of Nuh (Noah) and the People of the blind well (ar-Rass in al-Yamama), and Thamud (the People of Salih, in the town of al-Hijr near Tabuk on the Madina-Syria road),

وَعَادٌ وَفِرْعَوْنُ وَإِخْوَانُ لُوطٍO(13)

اور (عُمان اور اَرضِ مَہرہ کے درمیان یمن کی وادئ اَحقاف میں آباد ہود علیہ السلام کی قومِ) عاد نے اور(مصر کے حکمران) فرعون نے اور (اَرضِ فلسطین میں سدوم اور عمورہ کی رہنے والی) قومِ لُوط نےo

And ‘Ad (the people of Hud in Ahqaf valley of Yemen situated between Oman and the al-Mahra) and Pharaoh (the ruler of Egypt) and the People of Lut [Lot] (living in Sodom and ‘Amura [Gomorrah] in Palestine),

وَأَصْحَابُ الْأَيْكَةِ وَقَوْمُ تُبَّعٍ كُلٌّ كَذَّبَ الرُّسُلَ فَحَقَّ وَعِيدِO(14)

اور (مَدیَن کے گھنے درختوں والے بَن) اَیکہ کے رہنے والوں نے (یہ قومِ شعیب تھی) اور (بادشاہِ یَمن اسعَد ابوکریب) تُبّع (الحِمیَری) کی قوم نے، (الغرض اِن) سب نے رسولوں کو جھٹلایا، پس (اِن پر) میرا وعدۂ عذاب ثابت ہو کر رہاo

And the inhabitants of al-Aika (the Wood in Madyan, the People of Shu‘aib) and the people of Tubba‘ (the people of As‘ad Abu Kurib al-Himiri, the King of Yemen) (in sum) all (of them) rejected the Messengers. So My promise of punishment (against them) proved true.

أَفَعَيِينَا بِالْخَلْقِ الْأَوَّلِ بَلْ هُمْ فِي لَبْسٍ مِّنْ خَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍO(15)

سو کیا ہم پہلی بار پیدا کرنے کے باعث تھک گئے ہیں؟ (ایسا نہیں) بلکہ وہ لوگ اَزسرِنَو پیدائش کی نسبت شک میں (پڑے) ہیںo

So are We tired by the first creation? (No way!) In fact it is they who are in doubt about the new creation.

وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ وَنَعْلَمُ مَا تُوَسْوِسُ بِهِ نَفْسُهُ وَنَحْنُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ حَبْلِ الْوَرِيدِO(16)

اور بیشک ہم نے انسان کو پیدا کیا ہے اور ہم اُن وسوسوں کو (بھی) جانتے ہیں جو اس کا نفس (اس کے دل و دماغ میں) ڈالتا ہے۔ اور ہم اس کی شہ رگ سے بھی زیادہ اس کے قریب ہیںo

Assuredly We created man and We know (also) the doubts which his (ill-commanding) self puts (into his heart and mind). And We are nearer to him than his jugular vein.

إِذْ يَتَلَقَّى الْمُتَلَقِّيَانِ عَنِ الْيَمِينِ وَعَنِ الشِّمَالِ قَعِيدٌO(17)

جب دو لینے والے (فرشتے اس کے ہر قول و فعل کو تحریر میں) لے لیتے ہیں (جو) دائیں طرف اور بائیں طرف بیٹھے ہوئے ہیںo

When the two receivers receive (the recording angels write down his every communication and work), sitting on the right and on the left,

مَا يَلْفِظُ مِن قَوْلٍ إِلَّا لَدَيْهِ رَقِيبٌ عَتِيدٌO(18)

وہ مُنہ سے کوئی بات نہیں کہنے پاتا مگر اس کے پاس ایک نگہبان (لکھنے کے لئے) تیار رہتا ہےo

Not a word does he utter with the mouth but a watcher is there beside him ready (to write it).

وَجَاءَتْ سَكْرَةُ الْمَوْتِ بِالْحَقِّ ذَلِكَ مَا كُنتَ مِنْهُ تَحِيدُO(19)

اور موت کی بے ہوشی حق کے ساتھ آپہنچی۔ (اے انسان!) یہی وہ چیز ہے جس سے تو بھاگتا تھاo

And the stupor of death comes with the Truth. (O man,) that is what you were running away from!

وَنُفِخَ فِي الصُّورِ ذَلِكَ يَوْمُ الْوَعِيدِO(20)

اور صُور پھونکا جائے گا، یہی (عذاب ہی) وعید کا دن ہےo

And the Trumpet will be blown. It is this (torment) the Day of Warning.
