83. سورة الْمُطَفِّفِيْن

وَإِذَا انقَلَبُواْ إِلَى أَهْلِهِمُ انقَلَبُواْ فَكِهِينَO(31)

اور جب اپنے گھر والوں کی طرف لوٹتے تو (مومنوں کی تنگ دستی اور اپنی خوش حالی کا موازنہ کر کے) اِتراتے اور دل لگی کرتے ہوئے پلٹتے تھےo

And when they went back to their families they used to exult over the believers (by comparing the believers’ destitution and their own affluence) and returned speaking of them with jests.

وَإِذَا رَأَوْهُمْ قَالُوا إِنَّ هَؤُلَاءِ لَضَالُّونَO(32)

اور جب یہ (مغرور لوگ) ان (کمزور حال مومنوں) کو دیکھتے تو کہتے: یقیناً یہ لوگ راہ سے بھٹک گئے ہیں (یعنی یہ دنیا گنوا بیٹھے ہیں اور آخرت تو ہے ہی فقط افسانہ)o

And when they (the arrogant people) saw these (the indigent believers), they used to say: ‘They have gone astray,’ (i.e. they have lost the world while the Hereafter is nothing but fiction.)

وَمَا أُرْسِلُوا عَلَيْهِمْ حَافِظِينَO(33)

حالانکہ وہ ان (کے حال) پر نگہبان بنا کر نہیں بھیجے گئے تھےo

Yet they had not been sent to watch over their (state of affairs).

فَالْيَوْمَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ مِنَ الْكُفَّارِ يَضْحَكُونَO(34)

پس آج (دیکھو) اہلِ ایمان کافروں پر ہنس رہے ہیںo

So (see) Today the believers are laughing at the disbelievers.

عَلَى الْأَرَائِكِ يَنظُرُونَO(35)

سجے ہوئے تختوں پر بیٹھے (اپنی خوش حالی اور کافروں کی بدحالی کا) نظارہ کر رہے ہیںo

Reclining on ornamented couches, they are viewing the sight (comparing their own prosperity and the disbelievers’ impoverishment).

هَلْ ثُوِّبَ الْكُفَّارُ مَا كَانُوا يَفْعَلُونَO(36)

سو کیا کافروں کو اس (مذاق) کا پورا بدلہ دے دیا گیا جو وہ (مسلمانوں سے) کیا کرتے تھےo

So, have the disbelievers been rewarded in full for (the mockery) which they used to inflict upon (the believers)?
